I love it when a wine is lean, clean and green (as in tasting like green fruit). The 2010 Domaine Ehrhart Val St.- Gregoire Pinot Auxerrois ($16) succeeds on all fronts. Tasty fruit, gloriously racy texture and a pure, persistent finish are hallmarks of this Alsatian white, made with an obscure grape. Try this versatile wine with roast chicken or pork or fish. Available at Haskell's, Lunds/Byerly's, the Eden Prairie and Edina municipals, G-Will and Big Top.
