WINE
Most of us know someone who professes to hate chardonnay. Well, the Charles Smith "Eve" Chardonnay ($14) is just what the Wine Doctor ordered for these folks. It's lovely, lean and long, with some Sprite-like "limon" flavors providing a mouth-watering mid-palate and finish. This Washington white is an amazingly versatile option at the dinner table; garlic shrimp or lemon chicken on the grill would be especially fine pairings.
