Wine

I love gros manseng, a white grape that rocks as a varietal and is a fantastic blending grape. The 2013 Maison Legrand Cotes de Gascogne Gros Manseng ($10) is a fabulous introduction, lively, bracing and delicious. There's nice byplay between citrus and stone fruit plus refreshing minerality and a clean finish. Try it with ceviche, at a Friday fish fry or with any fresh salad or chicken preparation.

Available at BrightWines, Sentyrz, Tournament, Shorewood, Westside, Falls Liquor, Greenway, Ace (Hopkins), Oaks and others.
