The rain invading the Northeast this weekend will not persist into Monday tointerfere with the running of the Boston Marathon. Runners, however, will haveto contend with westerly winds, which will be sustained at 15 to 25 mph withhigher gusts.Temperatures will be in the mid-40s at the start of the race, and will climb tonear 60 degrees as the race progresses.
