Wildlife refuge information on Web

Make a travel plan

January 10, 2013 at 3:03AM

When traveling for business or pleasure (or to visit the in-laws), there is a Web site that will give you information on National Wildlife Refuges along the route or at your destination. We have 554 refuges, all with birds. They're worth a stop. To see why and make a plan go to www.fws.gov/refuges/birding.

And remember -- purchase of duck stamps finances national wildlife refuges.
