Wild tries to stay unbeaten vs. playoff-bound Jets

Preview: The Wild, which can be eliminated from playoff contention Tuesday night, finishes the regular season against three playoff-bound opponents, beginning with the Jets, who won at Chicago 4-3 in overtime Monday to take a two-point lead over Nashville and St. Louis in the Central Division. As much as the team has struggled this season, the Wild is 4-0 against Winnipeg, outscoring the Jets 13-7 while winning twice at home and twice on the road. … The Wild reassigned forward Matt Read to Iowa of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Players to watch: Wild G Devan Dubnyk is 3-0 against Winnipeg this season with a goals-against average of 1.67 and save percentage of .943. Jets F Blake Wheeler ranks 13th in the NHL in points (89) and third in assists (69), while Jack Roslovic scored twice vs. the Blackhawks.­

Numbers: The Wild is 15-17-7 at Xcel Energy Center, the worst home record in the Western Conference. Winnipeg has a 25.5 percent success rate on the power play, fourth-best in the league.

Injuries: Wild F Mikko Koivu (knee surgery) and D Matt Dumba (torn pectoral muscle) are out; F Zach Parise (lower-body injury) is day-to-day. Jets D Josh Morrissey (upper-body injury) is out, and G Laurent Brossoit (lower-body injury) is day-to-day.
