Preview: This is the conclusion of a four-game homestand for the Wild, which is 2-1 so far. The team is 9-1-1 in its past 11 games vs. the Sharks on home ice. San Jose is coming off a 7-3 victory at Chicago on Sunday. The Sharks have won four in a row and six of seven.

Players to watch: San Jose D Brent Burns has five points in his past three games. He and C Logan Couture are tied for the team lead in points with 34. Sharks captain Joe Pavelski has reached the 20-goal plateau for the 10th time in his career.

Numbers: Wild W Mikael Granlund and D Ryan Suter each have recorded a team-best 19 points at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild has gone 12-for-12 on the penalty kill over the past six games. Sharks C Joe Thornton has 41 points in 46 games against the Wild. San Jose has surrendered three goals or fewer in seven consecutive games.

Injuries: Wild D Matt Dumba (upper body) is out after missing the second and third periods of Saturday's 2-1 loss to Calgary.
