Wild single-game tickets go on sale Saturday

Training camp officially opens today, and tickets go on sale this weekend

September 11, 2013 at 2:34PM

Training camp officially opens today with physicals, fitness testing and photos/interviews with the rightsholders, etc. Official access begins Thursday when the Wild takes the ice for the first time at Ridder Arena.

So don't expect much news today as I devote today to working ahead and having lunch with a player for a future article.

In today's paper, I did a feature on Mike Yeo, who is recharged as he enters crucial Year 3 behind the Wild bench. That article can be read here.

I'll be back if there's any news today, but remember, you can watch practice at the X for free at 9:30 and 11:15 (two sessions) on Saturday and you can watch the Wild scrimmage for free Sunday at the X at 11 a.m. Gate 1 opens both days 15 minutes before.

Also, tickets go on sale Saturday. Info below. There is a social media presale Friday, which means likely pay attention to the Wild's Twitter and Facebook accounts.

As always, you can also follow me on both: www.twitter.com/russostrib (click follow) and www.facebook.com/startribunemikerusso (click like even if you dislike).
