The Wild, as of late Friday, had not called up a forward from American Hockey League Houston in place of banged-up Cal Clutterbuck.

General Manager Chuck Fletcher said that there was "no reason to believe he won't play Sunday [against Detroit], but we'll see at [Saturday's] practice."

Clutterbuck was injured with 6 1/2 minutes left in the first period of Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to Colorado after appearing to take a stick to the head. He tried to come back in the second period but that lasted only three shifts, and he sat out the rest of the game.
