wild rice popcorn

  • Wild rice popcorn

          Take a good sized skillet with at least a one inch lip

          • Lightly drizzle in some oil......
            • Heat the oil slowly.......this is like old time popcorn popping.....
              • take a half a handful of wild rice and sprinkle on very hot oil
                • When the rice pops it will fluff to white. I ladle it out of the oil and toss in another handful
                  • Drain on a paper towel.......
                    • You can eat it like popcorn, toss it on salads......put it on loads of food as a garden garnish...its great in scrambled eggs at breakfast too.
                      • Don't knock it...till ya pop's it........
