- Wild rice popcorn
Take a good sized skillet with at least a one inch lip
- Lightly drizzle in some oil......
- Heat the oil slowly.......this is like old time popcorn popping.....
- take a half a handful of wild rice and sprinkle on very hot oil
- When the rice pops it will fluff to white. I ladle it out of the oil and toss in another handful
- Drain on a paper towel.......
- You can eat it like popcorn, toss it on salads......put it on loads of food as a garden garnish...its great in scrambled eggs at breakfast too.
- Don't knock it...till ya pop's it........
