With centermen Matt Cullen and John Madden question marks to play Saturday night against the Los Angeles Kings, the Wild has recalled center Warren Peters from AHL Houston.

If he plays vs. the Kings, it'll be his Wild debut.

Peters, 28, has played 27 NHL games with Calgary and Dallas. Peters has scored 11 points in 27 games for the Aeros this season.

Also, Friday night, Casey Wellman scored four goals, including a natural hat trick in the first period, to lift Houston to a 5-3 win over San Antonio. Eden Prairie's Chad Rau had three assists.

From the Aeros' release:

Wellman became just the third player in Aeros history to record four goals in a game and is the first to bag a natural hat trick in the opening 20 minutes. Wellman's first goal, at 2:37, produced a shower of stuffed of animals onto the ice to celebrate the annual Teddy Bear Toss.

He followed up at 12:40 on Houston's 11th shot of the game, and again at 15:42 on the Aeros' 12th shot. Rau, who assisted on all three markers, tied a franchise-high watermark with the feat.
