March 15, 2016 at 5:29AM

6:30 p.m. at Ottawa • FSN, (100.3-FM)

Preview: The Senators, who give up the most shots per game (33.3) and fourth-most goals per game (3.03), are the only team in the NHL the Wild hasn't played this season, and they're usually a team the Wild struggles against. The Wild is 2-7-1 in its past 10 vs. the Senators and has lost five of seven all-time games in Ottawa.

Players to watch: Wild LW Zach Parise is one goal from his 100th with the Wild. In the past five games, C Mikko Koivu has won 68 of 107 faceoffs (63.5 percent) and has two goals and an assist. Koivu is tied for ninth in the NHL with a .562 faceoff win percentage. C Mikael Granlund is coming off the first two-goal game of his career. Ryan Suter is one assist from his 38th, which would be a Wild single-season record for defensemen. The Senators' Erik Karlsson, a two-time Norris Trophy winner, leads all NHL defensemen with 70 points in 70 games.

Numbers: The Wild has 15 power-play goals over its past 13 road games after six in the first 22 road games. The Wild has at least one power-play goal in 17 of the past 23 games overall.

Injuries: Wild RW Jason Pominville (lower body) is out. Senators C Kyle Turris (ankle) and D Mark Borowiecki (knee) are out.

The Wild’s Brock Faber played in the 2022 Games in Beijing when he was still at the University of Minnesota and NHL players stayed at home. In 2026, he’s back.
