STAR TRIBUNE'S THREE STARS

1. Jose Theodore, Wild: With Niklas Backstrom struggling, he made 33 of his 40 saves in the final 40 minutes.

2. Casey Wellman, Wild: Rookie playing for the first time since Nov. 20 scored his first career game-winning goal.

3. Kyle Brodziak, Wild: Workhorse in every area, won eight of 13 faceoffs and scored the tying goal and an assist.
