Preview: The Wild is 4-2-4 on the second night of back-to-backs this season. The Islanders have been off since ending a four-game slide Saturday against New Jersey. The Islanders also have lost four in a row at home, not winning in Uniondale since Feb. 27. This is the Wild's last appearance on Long Island as the Isles move to Brooklyn next season. The Wild is 4-4 all-time at New York. The Wild beat the Islanders 5-4 at home Dec. 9, the game defenseman Keith Ballard suffered what likely is a season-ending concussion on a hit by Matt Martin.

Players to watch: If G Devan Dubnyk starts, it will be his 33rd consecutive start (32nd with the Wild), the most in the NHL since Antti Niemi started 34 in a row in 2010-11. It also would be the fifth time he starts back-to-backs. Since being pulled Jan. 20 at Detroit, Dubnyk is 2-0-1 in the second of back-to-backs with a 1.30 goals-against average and .965 save percentage. Islanders standout and Edina native Anders Lee is second among NHL rookies with 23 goals. C John Tavares is tied for second in the NHL with 73 points. Minnesotans Kyle Okposo (45 points) and Brock Nelson (40 points) are tied for second and fourth in points on the team, respectively.

Numbers: The Islanders rank fourth in the NHL with 2.99 goals per game and 23rd in goals against (2.74). … The Wild has the NHL's first-ranked penalty kill (86.5 percent). The Islanders rank 28th (77.3 percent).

Injuries: Wild LW Ryan Carter (shoulder) is questionable. D Nate Prosser (knee), LW Jason Zucker (collarbone), LW Matt Cooke (sports hernia) and D Keith Ballard (concussion) are out. Islanders C Mikhail Grabovski (concussion) is out.
