Preview: The Wild, after a 2-2 homestand, hits the road for only the second time since Dec. 12. The Wild, 5-5-5 on the road, opens its trip in a building where it won twice during a first-round playoff series win against the Blues last April. But in the regular season, the Wild is 1-4-3 there since March 29, 2011, and has one regulation win there in the past 15 visits since Oct. 20, 2007.

Players to watch: Blues RW Vladimir Tarasenko, who scored six goals against the Wild in last season's playoffs, has eight goals and 14 points in the past 13 games. D Kevin Shattenkirk has 22 points in the past 23 games. G Jake Allen will start. LW Robbie Fabbri ranks seventh among NHL rookies with nine goals, four in the past five games. … Wild C Mikko Koivu's six goals in the past eight games surpasses his goal total (four) from the first 27 games this season. RW Charlie Coyle has goals in three of the past four games.

Numbers: The Wild is 4-for-53 (7.5 percent) on the power play in its past 15 visits to St. Louis and ranks 28th (12.5 percent) on the road on the power play this season.

Injuries: Wild LW Zach Parise (lower body) and G Darcy Kuemper (concussion) are out. Blues C Patrik Berglund (shoulder) is doubtful. LW Jaden Schwartz (ankle) and LW Steve Ott (hamstring) are out.
