Through the years, the sporty model's mass appeal has lifted it to nearly legendary status in American culture. And just how wild are fans for Mustangs? Well, according to Ford's website, the automaker will offer 14 different versions to choose from for 2009: Shelby GT500KR, Shelby GT500, Shelby GT500 convertible, GT, GT premium, GT convertible, GT premium convertible, Bullitt edition (inspired by the movie of the same name), GT Cal Special Package, V-6 Pony Package, V-6, V-6 premium, V-6 convertible and the V-6 premium convertible.
