Players to watch: Wild D Jared Spurgeon has three goals and four assists in the past five games. Red Wings D Mike Green rejoined the lineup Friday at Winnipeg after missing a month because of a foot injury; Detroit was 3-14-5 without him. Luke Glendening scored a shorthanded goal Friday.
Numbers: The Red Wings have eight one-goal regulation losses, most in the NHL. The Wild’s penalty kill is ranked third in the NHL (84.2 percent) and is clicking at 88.6 percent on home ice.
