Preview: This is the Wild's final test before it pauses for the holiday break. The team has dropped three in a row, including two straight on home ice. Dallas has also had a rough go lately, winning just once in its past six games. Overall, the Stars are 5-5 in their past 10 games.

Players to watch: Center Tyler Seguin boasts a team-high 32 points. Captain Jamie Benn has five points during a four-game point streak. Goalie Ben Bishop carries a .921 save percentage.

Numbers: Winger Jordan Greenway has two goals in the past three games. The Wild is 0-for-6 on the power play since going 4-for-4 Dec. 11. Dallas is 6-11-2 on the road. The Stars are winless in their past four trips to St. Paul.

Injuries: Wild D Matt Dumba (upper body) is out. Stars F Martin Hanzal (back) and Ds Stephen Johns (post-traumatic headaches), Connor Carrick (foot) and Marc Methot (lower body) are also out.
