Preview: If the Wild wins in regulation, it will tie Colorado with 68 points and move into the top eight of the Western Conference for the first time since Jan. 25. The Wild is 2-0-1 against the Avalanche this season. Colorado is 3-3 in its past six and lost its Stadium Series game Saturday against Detroit in the final minute in Denver.

Players to watch: RW Charlie Coyle leads the Wild with 19 goals and has nine in his past 17 games. C Erik Haula (career-high eight goals) has five multipoint games in his past 11. LW Zach Parise has nine points in the past 10 games. He has eight goals and 13 points in his past nine games vs. Colorado. Avs RW Jarome Iginla is tied for seventh in the NHL with 11 power-play goals but is minus-17. He is the all-time leader against the Wild in points (70) and goals (38) and second in power-play goals (11). C Matt Duchene is tied for ninth with 26 goals. RW Mikkel Boedker is expected to make his Avalanche debut after being acquired from Arizona.

Numbers: The Wild has at least one power-play goal in 14 of the past 17 games, including eight power-play goals in the past eight games. The Wild's penalty kill has been scored on five of its past eight chances and 13 of the past 41.

Injuries: Wild LW/RW Jason Zucker (concussion) and D Jonas Brodin (foot) are questionable. Avalanche D Brad Stuart (back) is out.
