Patrick Sharp, Chicago: Scored a pair of goals, one on a tip-in, the other on a 40-foot slapshot.

Corey Crawford, Chicago: Supported by strong defense, the Blackhawks goalie had a 25-save shutout.

Johnny Oduya, Chicago: Unsung defenseman blocked five shots.

TURNING POINT

Sharp scored 1:02 into the second period on the first shot on relief goalie Darcy Kuemper, who had no chance to warm up before the period started, to give Chicago a 2-0 lead. Kuemper replaced Josh Harding, who suffered a left leg injury.
