A blast of wintry cold thrusting southward over the midsection as of Sundaywill set up a widespread frost and freeze deep into the southern tier of statesearly in the week. On one or both early mornings on Monday and Tuesday, hardfreezes will happen southward to at least Dallas-Fort Worth, Shreveport,Jackson, Mississippi and Montgomery, Alabama. Frosts will be possible to nearSan Antonio, Houston, Baton Rouge and Mobile.The Southeast will have yet another unusually cold start on Wednesday withwidespread late-season frost and freeze as far south as northern Florida.
