Foo and Blu kick out the jock jams at Target Center/ Photo by Tony Nelson If all were fair in love and music, LMFAO would have been one-hit wonders. But their career has stretched to two No. 1 smashes, a Super Bowl half-time appearance and a summer-long arena concert tour. Maybe the electro-pop duo has too much personality to go away quickly. At least, Redfoo does. On the third night of their first headline tour, he played Simon to SkyBlu's Garfunkel Friday at Target Center. Blu was hard to recognize at first because he recently trimmed his shaggy mane to a short curly 'do. Foo showed a spark and a flair for showmanship, whether bringing out the Best Dance Crew-winning Quest Crew (one dude spins on his head while hula-hooping upside down), shuffling in unison with Blu and their own crew or rocking a necklace with a giant "EVERY DAY I'M SHUFFLIN" pendant (plus he changed outfits several times, sporting T-shirts emblazoned with the title of the song the group was performring). As my review indicated, this was a show filled with mindless fun. Even though LMFAO has two albums, they relied on their collaborations with others, including Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta, to fill out the set. The hit-making L.A. duo also called on four opening acts to try to get the party started. Pop vocalist/guitarist Matthew Koma was forgettable, and Dutch singer Eva Simons was memorable only for her oversized windswept hairdo and as-daring-as-Rihanna outfit. Dutch DJ Sidney Samson pumped some energy into the arena to get the fans hyped. And Far East Movement, the hit-making Los Angeles hip-hop pop ensemble, revved up the modest crowd of 6,100 with what was essentially a generic club set, invigorating with the propulsive "Dirty Bass," the 2010 bass-bruising triumph "Like a G6" and "Free Wired," which was turned into a Beastie Boys tribute. Here is LMFAO's set list from Target Center: Rock the Beat/ Sorry For Party Rocking/ Get Crazy/ Take it to the Hole/ Put That A$$ to Work/ I'm in Miami, Bitch/ Gettin' Over You (David Guetta)/ Boom Boom Pow (Black Eyed Peas)/ Shooting Star (David Rush)/ Reminds Me of You/ I'm Not a Whore/ Hot Dog/ One Day/ La La La/ Yes/ Quest Crew dance mashup/ Shots ENCORE Party Rock Anthem/ Champagne Showers/ Sexy and I Know It
