Whopper Snowstorm Next Week!

We're just getting started. The storm that brings snow to the South and EastFriday night and Saturday is just the beginning of a cold, stormy weatherpattern that is likely to persist through at least the middle of December.This all had to do with two major weather elements. Currently, an overwhelmingamount of cold air covers all of Canada and much of the northern part of theUnited States. In addition, Pacific storm are about to come charging intoCalifornia, something they haven't been doing for quite a while.

The first storm of the series will produce heavy snow in the Intermountain WestMonday. The Plains will feel the full fury of the storm Tuesday, complete withheavy snow and severe blowing and drifting. The Midwest and East will be in thethick of it during the middle of next week.
