An adult Whooping Crane in the eastern migratory population was killed recently in western Indiana. It was the only successful breeding female in the Wisconsin-nesting flock. A $2,500 reward has been offered for information leading to the shooter. I've written more on our blog: http://bit.ly/4XyQro
