Who's up Rookie of the year? Last week you'd never heard of Chadwick Boseman, and now he's the star of the film with the best opening weekend for any baseball movie.

Who's down Chicago-based documentary studio Kartemquin Films ("Hoop Dreams," "The Interrupters") has been denied a sales-tax exemption by the state of Illinois for "the making and selling of propaganda DVDs."
