Who's got the good white sale deals?

Here's a list of white sales going on now or soon.

Today's article about wrinkle-free sheets only briefly mentions white sales. Here are a few more deals.

Bloomingdale's has a slough of sheets and towels on sale Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28-29. All of its towels are 40 percent off. The Charisma and Platinum towels are getting additional discounts ($14 and $13 on sale). If you have ever wanted to try the exclusive Pratesi line of sheets from Italy, they're on sale too. The Mall of America location doesn't carry them, but you can ask to order it.

Crate & Barrel (Edina, 952-920-2300) has up to 25 percent off select bedding, including Marimekko thru Jan. 31.

Herberger's offers a cotton/bamboo sheet set in queen size for $40 (reg. $110) or $45 for a king set. The bamboo/cotton set from Target (since discontinued) was a favorite of many for being cool in the summer, warm in the winter. I don't know if these are as good.

Lands' End takes 40 percent off one regularly-priced item online, today only (Jan. 25), including its highly-regarded wrinkle-free and flannel sheet sets. Go to the site to get your logon and discount code.

Target has its 325-thread count organic cotton sheet sets on sale this week as well as the Fieldcrest Luxury line (600 thread count) that was rated a "best buy" by Consumer Reports.

West Elm (Edina, 952-835-8332) has 20 percent of all bedding through Feb. 7. The Edina is often out of stock on popular items, so check online or ask for the item to be shipped to the store free of charge. If the item is an online only item, it can be ordered in the store, but shipping costs will be charged. West Elm offers a nice selection of organic cotton linens

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
