Who's eligible?

Under the program officially known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, undocumented immigrants are eligible for two-year deportation waivers, which can be renewed, if they:

• are younger than 31

• came to the United States before age 16

• are enrolled in school, or graduated from high school or served in the U.S. armed forces

• have no criminal record

To get applications, go to www.uscis.gov/childhoodarrivals. Applicants must pay a $465 fee and provide proof of identity and eligibility.
