Whistleblower: A farewell, a new face

Randy Furst, veteran investigative reporter, joins the Whistleblower team

April 19, 2011 at 2:43PM

This week brings a new voice to Whistleblower: Veteran investigative reporter Randy Furst takes over from Lora Pabst, who is now the Star Tribune's reporter in the Ramsey County courthouse.

Randy brings to Whistleblower more than 30 years' experience reporting and writing stories that have made a difference for Minnesotans. In recent years, his reporting on the Metro Gang Strike Force and a fire that killed six people in Minneapolis has helped change public policy and won journalism awards.

Randy will join me and Hard Data columnist Jane Friedmann in chasing your news tips and contributing to Whistleblower in the newspaper and online. You can reach him at rfurst@startribune.com or 612-673-7382.
