Facebook censorship, by country

Pop quiz: Can you name which country is No. 1 for censoring content on Facebook? It's not your typical Internet free-speech-quashing culprits (hi, Russia and China). It's India. According to a recent report released by Facebook, India made more than 15,000 requests to censor content on the social giant's various platforms. That number dwarfs other runners-up (Turkey was second with 4,496 requests, followed by France with 295). Facebook will restrict content when it violates a country's laws.
