Neighborhood Housing Services of Minneapolis is offering home buyers in North Minneapolis a $5,000 forgivable loan if you sign a purchase agreement by May 31 and close by August 15.
If you're interested in finding out more about the housing options in the many North Side neighborhoods, there's a May Day house tour called the Live North Home Tour that will feature 25 houses that are for sale. If you visit at least seven of those houses you can enter a drawing for one of five $100 gift cards.
Loan funds are limited. NHS has a pot of $100,000, and when it's gone, it's gone!
