The Deep South is in line for drenching rain and possible flooding. Heavy rainis already falling through central Texas, and wet weather will push intoeastern Texas overnight. Friday, the rainstorm will enter the central GulfCoast region, then it will move on to the Southeast Friday night andSaturday.Rainfall from the storm will range from 1 to 3 inches; certainly enough tocause local flash flooding.

In addition to the heavy rain, there is concern for isolated heavythunderstorms that could produce wind gusts over 60 miles per hour. Nowidespread severe weather outbreak is expected, however.
