What they might be doing ...

Devoe Joseph might be back on the floor for the Gophers, perhaps not so coincidentally just as Al Nolen is sidelined.

Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan might be looking ahead to the Texans-Titans rematch in three weeks. And so might the NFL.

Toby Gerhart might be looking for more carries as the season winds down.

FIVE THINGS

Toby Gerhart's outing made us wonder who Stanford's all-time leading rushers are. The top five:

4,033: Darrin Nelson, 1977-78, 80-81

3,522: Toby Gerhart, 2006-09

2,940: Brad Muster, 1984-87

2,523: Anthony Bookman, 1994-97

2,446: Mike Mitchell, 1993-97

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"When it was coming down to it, I was like 'Man, I'm not going to get it.' We ran a couple of plays for me to try and get the assist." -- Hawks star Josh Smith, apparently fully in favor of padding his stats to get a triple-double. He did with his 10th assist with 4:30 to play in Atlanta's 96-78 victory at Toronto.
