Today's Living Social deal is an exterior and interior auto detail for $79 or $99 (larger vehicles). It's a great gift for mom, dad or any car enthusiast. The deal is available at the Columbia Heights or downtown Minneapolis locations. The coupon can be redeemed through the end of the year.

Does the 90 degree heatwave we're supposed to have for the next week make you want o shop for fall? Nordstrom is counting on it. Nearly all of their new fall stuff for guys, gals and kids is discounted 25 percent or so. People who say that all the good stuff is gone by the time it goes on clearance should shop this sale.

Now that we're on the subject of clearance, the Galleria in Edina is having its mall-wide clearance event this weekend.
