The first images of a new $70 million apartment-grocery complex headed for the vacant Jaguar dealership spot in downtown Minneapolis have surfaced in city filings. Developer Ryan Cos. expects to break ground later this year on the project at 222 Hennepin Av. S. It includes 286 apartments plus a 45,000-square-foot grocery on the main level of two interconnected six-story buildings.
Mark Schoening, senior vice president of national retail for Ryan, said plans are for a terrace with a pool overlooking the downtown skyline. Financing hasn't been finalized, he said.
