What's open, closed on Christmas Day

Post offices: Closed. No regular mail service.

Banks: All Bremer Bank branches, TCF traditional and in-store branches (in Cub stores), Wells Fargo in-store and traditional branches and U.S. Bank branches in Byerly's stores will be closed.

Groceries: Most major supermarkets will be closed.

Malls: Many stores will be closed. Call for hours.

Mass transit: Regular Northstar service will not operate. Metro Transit buses, Metro Blue Line (Hiawatha), Red Line and Green Line will follow Sunday schedule. Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Maple Grove Transit, Plymouth Metrolink and SouthWest Metro Transit will not have service. Call Metro Mobility for service. Parking meters: Minneapolis, St. Paul and The University of Minnesota will not enforce meters unless noted on the meter. Minneapolis parks will enforce meters unless noted on the meter.

Schools: Public schools and the University of Minnesota will be closed.

Public agencies: Local, state and federal offices will be closed.

Libraries: Generally closed. Call for hours.
