The Minnesota House passed the measure 76-55 with Democrats and Republicans on both sides of the vote.

The Minnesota Senate passed the measure 44-23.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty has indicated he will sign the bill, "but as long as there are no unforeseen problems," his spokesman said.
