What's Cooking: Duluth's All Pints North beer fest on July 23 announces its 120 participating breweries

And the brewers are …

The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild has revealed the 120 participating breweries that will pour at the 5th annual All Pints North Summer Beer Fest on July 23 in Duluth. The list consists of 80 Minnesota craft breweries as well as 40 hand-picked national craft beer brands, including last year's "Best of Fest" winners Bent Paddle Brewing Co. and Fair State Brewing Cooperative. The fest, from 3-7 p.m. at Bayfront Festival Park, gives 3,500 craft beer fans an opportunity to enjoy unlimited and unique craft beer samples. Attendees can also participate in interactive beer education presentations. Tickets are $45 in advance when purchased online at tempotickets.com/apn2016. Tickets are also available at the door for $55. Sober driver tickets are $10.

Festival for restorative agriculture

Lily Springs Farm is a 100-acre private reserve near Osceola, Wis., an education and demonstration farm that supports restorative agriculture through training, work and, on July 16-17, a festival. Eat for Equity and Lily Springs Farm are hosting the Wild Springs Festival, a weekend of food, music, and community. Visitors can come for a day, or camp out and make it a weekend. Ticket packages range from $25 to $25 and include local and organic snacks, beverages, dinner, and breakfast from Eat for Equity, plus some late night wood-fired pizza from Wild Earth Pizza. Fair State Brewing Cooperative supplies the beer. There's a long lineup of music, plus water activities, yoga, bike rides and more. Volunteer to help work and get a discount. Dinner for Urban Roots

A trio of three champions of local food will prepare a five-course meal of Hmong-inspired dishes in support of Urban Roots and its work to build healthy communities through food, conservation, and youth development. Daniel Klein of Perennial Plate, Yia Vang of Union Kitchen and Marshall Paulsen of Birchwood Cafe join forces for the Booster Club Dinner from 6:30-9 p.m. July 28 at the Birchwood Cafe's community room, 3311 E. 25th St. in Minneapolis. Along with filmmaker Mirra Fine, they'll also share an episode of the Perennial Plate, the James Beard Award-winning online weekly documentary series. Each course includes a drink pairing.
