What roads will be torn up this weekend

Here's a sampling of some of those projects, which could change because of weather conditions.

1) I-35W/northeast Minneapolis

•What: All lanes closed.

•Where: From I-94 to Hwy. 280.

•When: 10 p.m. Friday through 5:30 a.m. Monday.

•Detour: Use I-94 and Hwy. 280.

•Exit ramp closed: 5th St. from westbound I-94 until July 31. Alternate: take 11th St. exit.

•Up next: Overnight lane closures next week at I-94.

2) I-35W/south Minneapolis

•What: Ramp from northbound I-35W to westbound Hwy. 62/58th St. is closed.

•When: For several more weeks.

•Detour: Follow northbound I-35W to westbound I-494 to northbound Hwy. 100; to access 58th St., motorists should take eastbound 66th St. to northbound Lyndale Av.

3) I-35W/Minneapolis

•What: Reduced to one lane each direction.

•Where: From I-94 to Mississippi River bridge.

•When: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays and Saturdays through July.

4) I-94/St. Paul

•Where: Western Av. to Hwy. 280.

•What: Reduced to three lanes in both directions.

•When: Until July 9.

•Ramp closures: Snelling to eastbound I-94 through July 9; Lexington Pkwy. from eastbound I-94 until Tuesday; Dale St. to westbound I-94 until Tuesday.

•Up next: Full weekend closures between Hwy. 280 and I-35E in July and August.

5) Hwy. 61/White Bear Lake

•What: Restricted to a single lane; flaggers and a pilot car will guide motorists through the zone.

•Where: Between Cedar Av. and County Road F.

•When: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Monday.

6) Co Rd. 81/ Brooklyn Park

•What: Road closed.

•Where: From Hwy. 169 to 85th Av.

•When: From 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

7) I-35W/north metro

•What: Lane restrictions.

•Where: Northbound from I-694 to Hwy. 10

•When: Until mid-July

Other hot spots:

•Maple Grove: Exit ramp from I-94 eastbound to I-494 southbound will be closed until 2 p.m. Sunday.

•Woodbury: Lane restrictions and ramp closures on I-494 and I-694 are in effect for several weeks.
