What is an Instant Pot?

What an Instant Pot (or one of its varieties) often includes:

Pressure cooker

Using pressure and heat, a multicooker can prepare food evenly and quickly — usually in less than half the time of traditional methods. (Be aware that some models only slow-cook, so check before you buy.)

Slow cooker

Sometimes it's more convenient to cook your food slowly. The slow-cook function on your device allows for this, turning it into a slow cooker for long, gentle cooking.

Sautés and steams

The built-in heat source at the base of the machine means you can use the pot to sear meats, sauté vegetables or simmer liquids for steaming, no stovetop required.

Rice cooker and yogurt maker

Because making rice and yogurt with just the touch of a button is the easiest way.
