What if Adrian Peterson had played all year?

The greatest hypothetical question for the just-completed Vikings season is, of course, what would have happened to this 7-9 squad had Adrian Peterson played the entire season instead of missing 15 of 16 games as a consequence of his legal problems?

My hypothetical answer: It would have helped the Vikings, though based on advanced metrics it probably only would have helped them win one more game (if that).

It would have erased a caveat and changed the narrative of the season. And it would have made a decision on the soon-to-be-30 Peterson's future even more interesting.

just like 2014 Most of the NFL head coaching candidates mentioned for newly vacant jobs are the same names we heard during the Vikings' search.

LUcky 11 The Vikings have the No. 11 pick in the 2015 NFL draft. The last time they had the No. 11 overall pick they took Daunte Culpepper in 1999.
