What cold? Minnesotans (mostly) embrace the extreme weather

Even for Minnesota, this has been a winter of extremes, with mandatory statewide school cancellations and wind chills plummeting to more than 40 degreees below zero. But Minnesotans are a stoic lot and mostly embrace the cold. We asked for readers' favorite ways to cope with extreme weather, and here are some of our favorite respones:

THEY DECIDE TO TAKE A WALK: Uve Hamilton of St. Paul was visiting her daughter, who lives near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, when she decided to take a walk along the lake Jan. 22, 2014.
