Point guard Lindsay Whalen and rookie forward Maya Moore of the Lynx will receive their FIBA World Championship rings on Friday at Target Center before the San Antonio game.
Whalen and Moore both were among the 12 players on the U.S. team which won the gold medal in the women's basketball World Championships last October in the Czech Republic.
Whalen averaged 5.9 pionts, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Moore's numbers were slightly higher. She averaged 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
Three other Lynx players -- Seimone Augustus, Rebekkah Brunson and Candice Wiggins -- also are part of the 26-player pool from which the U.S. team for 2012 Summer Olympics in London will be picked.
