Wet on the West Coast

Rain moved into California Tuesday. There have also been a few reports oflightning and thunder in the San Francisco area. The storm will bring rain orshowers to much of the state Tuesday night into Wednesday, and several inchesof snow will fall in the Sierra-Nevada.This is not a particularly strong storm with rainfall generally under 0.75of an inch. The upsloping terrain along the eastern side of the Sierra canexpect somewhat greater amounts. No serious flooding or mudslides are expectedwith this storm.
