Dry and moist wind flow converging over the eastern states on Sunday willset up a northern edge to rainy weather over the East. Building northward froma stalled cold front, a swath of rain will set up by mid-afternoon oversouthern Pennsylvania to northern New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.South of the Mason-Dixon Line, there will be some heavier rain with a fewthunderstorms rattling Virginia into southern Maryland.
To the north, however, dry weather will hold sway throughout Sunday overmost of New York through central and northern New England.
