Friday and Saturday have seen some fine weather, warmest so far in manycities, over the eastern United States. Temperatures climbed well into the 70s.Next, cool air dipping south out of Canada will meet rain spreading eastwardover the mid-sector to instigate marked shifts in weather over the East and theMidwest beginning on Sunday.
Rainy, colder weather will become widespread by early Monday overWashington, D.C., through New York City in the East and westward to Chicago andDetroit. As of Monday, high temperatures will be 20 to 30 degrees lower thanthose of Saturday afternoon. In the East, there will be a raw chilling wind offthe Atlantic Ocean.
