Police in West St. Paul say three men snatched a purse from an elderly woman and now the search is on to find them.

The incident happened Monday night at the Target store at 1750 S. Robert St.

According to police, the men watched as the woman returned items at the service counter. When she left the store, they followed.

In the parking lot, one man ran up behind her and "forcibly pulled her purse" out of her hand.

The men ran across the street to a parking lot on Robert Street, got into a vehicle and fled.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect on the police department's Facebook page. It did not have a description of the getaway vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 651-552-4200.
