'The Music Man Jr.' takes stage March 12

Meredith Willson's "The Music Man Jr." will be presented by the junior high students of Notre Dame Academy beginning March 12.

The performance is unique in that participation is a requirement of the school's junior high curriculum. Seventh- and eighth-grade students who otherwise might never volunteer for a role on stage find themselves cast in key and integral roles.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. March 12 to 14 and 1 p.m. on March 15. All performances will be held at the school, located at 13505 Excelsior Blvd.
