Annual fundraiser to benefit schoolsThe Hopkins Education Foundation's annual event, the Royal Bash 2013, will be held Feb. 23 at the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club.
The event, which raises money for programs in Hopkins schools, includes international cuisine, silent and live auctions, and dancing. Last year, more than $125,000 was raised to give to classroom grants. For more information, go to www.hopkinseducationfoundation.org or call 952-988-4097.

Dyslexia workshop to be held at GrovesGroves Academy will host a full-day symposium on dyslexia by national expert Brock Eide.
The event, "Dyslexia: A Celebration of Talents," will feature the author as well as Linda Hecker, a lead educational specialist from Landmark College Institute for Research and Training.
