BLOOMINGTON

Open house is scheduled at Early LearnersBloomington's Early Learners Academy will hold an open house at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at Poplar Bridge Elementary School and Jan. 24 at Westwood Elementary School.

The Academy is for working families who want full-day child care and an early education experience for children ages 3-5.

The district has three all-day preschool programs, including full-year classes at Poplar Bridge and Hillcrest Community School. For more information, call 952-681-6125.

EDEN PRAIRIE

International School hosts open houseThe International School of Minnesota in Eden Prairie will hold an admissions open house from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 9. The event will include a tour of the preschool-through-grade 12 school and information from faculty.

School choir to perform at churchThe Western Accents, a choir from West Lutheran High School in Plymouth, will perform at Ascension Lutheran Church on Jan. 9.

High school registration set for eighth gradersCooper and Armstrong high schools will hold registration and information nights for eight-grade families and students at 7 p.m. on Jan. 3 at Armstrong and 7 p.m. Jan. 6 at Cooper. WAYZATA

Elementary school to celebrate diversityWayzata's Oakwood Elementary School will hold its eighth annual "International Night" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 27.

The celebration includes displays and food from nearly 20 countries. This year's focus is on Ireland and includes Irish dance groups, activities and food.

The event is free and open to families with Wayzata elementary school students.
