Blue Water to hold auditions for musical
Blue Water Theatre Company of Wayzata soon will hold auditions for an upcoming production of the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
Auditions are open to all student actors in grades 6-12. Student actors who wish to audition need not prepare anything in advance; everything they need will be provided at the audition.
Auditions will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10; Tuesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 13, at Blue Water's studio at 1250 E. Wayzata Blvd.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, March 17. Performances will take place June 12 to 14 at Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins. The show will be directed by Charlie Leonard, with music direction by Kirsten Hoiseth Thayer and choreography by Danielle Nelson.

Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy hot soup and cool bowls on Tuesday, March 11, as part of the 16th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet.
